Install Piranha Grips™ ONCE and never worry about your lights again!
Installation Instructions
What You Will Need:
Ladder
Tape Measure
Power Drill
1/2 Drill bit
1/2 Drill Guide Jig Sold Separately
Wood Glue
Wood Filler
If your home’s eaves are low, you may be able to use a stepladder; otherwise, plan to use an extension ladder. Place it firmly on flat ground and lean it against the eaves, extended well above the eaves and leaning at an angle that will be comfortable and safe to climb—neither too steep nor too flat. If you must lean it against the gutter, place a short piece of 2 by 4 inside the gutter for reinforcement.
Follow the steps below:
Measure the length of each section of the house to be fitted with Piranha Grips™. Figure the number of grips it will take to install lights around the eaves. Measure from one straight edge to the next.

Ideally Piranha Grips™ should be spaced no more than 3 feet apart. Mark the location of each Piranha Grip™ with a pencil. Each Eave should be measured independently from corner to corner.

TIP: When installing around inside or outside corners of the house, place a Piranha Grips™ at each corner and start spacing measurements again. |
Decide where you want to hang your light string on your eaves. Adjust the Drill Guide Jig to the desired spacing to ensure uniform placement along the eave.

Keep in Mind: 1" is standard. Be sure to consider gutters and fixtures when determining placement. |
If you have not purchased the Drill Guide Jig for this Project ,you must measure Vertically & Horizontally to insure each Piranha Grip™ is spaced evenly.
Measure at least 1" from the bottom of the eave and space the Piranha Grips™ no more than 3' apart. Drill the 1/2 inch Hole as straight as possible. The Drill Guide Jig is designed to guide the bit for a straight hole and uniform distance on the eave.

When you are ready to install Piranha Grips™, put a small amount of Wood Glue on the outside of each Piranha Grip™. This insures a secure installation and prevents water seepage. If necessary use a wood putty to insure a tight seal.

Slide the Piranha Grip™ into the hole until it's flush to the front of the eave.

Press the back of the Piranha Grip™ to expose the gripper. The Piranha Grips™ spring action ensures a snug tight grip on your light string. Finally, no more sagging.

Remember: Piranha Grips™ can be painted to match the eaves and will seem invisible when not in use. |
You're finished. Now hang your lights and enjoy....!!!
